We are pleased to announce that Patrick Ruppe has joined Bliss as a vice president in the financial services practice. With over 10 years of experience, Patrick brings with him a strong expertise in the marketing and B2B communications fields. As a lead member of our financial services practice, he will bring tremendous value to the firm and to our clients.
“Having worked across all media channels—earned, owned, social and paid—to connect financial institutions and information services companies with priority audiences, Patrick embodies our integrated promise and will be a valuable asset to our firm and clients,” said Meg Wildrick, managing director at Bliss Integrated Communication. “His background in journalism, PR, social media and marketing make him exceptionally well-positioned to help financial institutions tell smart stories that drive reputation and action.”

Before that, Patrick served in both in-house and agency marketing and PR positions in the financial services sector, with a focus on trading and investments, financial technology and advisory services.
Patrick began his career in the financial sector as a journalist at Institutional Investor covering broker/dealer execution services and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, he won an honorable mention in the New York State Associated Press Association 2004-05 writing contest for his community journalism efforts at the Cortland Standard, in Upstate New York.
He received a B.A. from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
